Virginia’s favorite part about attending STJ is the “love the teachers and coaches, and the help and support they give.” When asked to share something most people don’t know about her, Virginia responded, “I love art!” Not only does she love art, but she’s also great at it— she recently won a silver key for her printmaking at the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. Outside of school, Virginia is a member of Bridge Builders of Alabama, a program that provides leadership programs for high school students. She offered this advice to other teens: “If you want something, you have to reach for it—no one is going to get it for you.”
