her story: Chloe Baynes shared her favorite thing about attending Tallassee High School is all of the sports she is allowed to play. “Some sports run at the same time, and I’m so thankful that all my great coaches are able to work together so I can participate in all the sports that I do.” One thing most people don’t know about Chloe is that she had heart surgery at only twelve days old. Her motto is “Everything happens for a reason.” She wants to be remembered as an all-around good person and for being a great athlete.

what’s next: Chloe is currently undecided about her career path but intends to play softball at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM).

PG (parental guidance) rating: When asked who provided the biggest influence in her life, Chloe shared, “My parents because of how hard-working and dedicated they are. They worked so hard to make sure me and my siblings have exactly what we need, and I’m so thankful for them. I couldn’t love them more even if I tried.” She is proud of how close her family is and the love and support they share with one another.

parent-to-parent: Chloe’s parents, Mark and Michelle, shared, “Chloe is a very determined young lady and knows what she wants. She is beautiful on the inside and has a kind heart. She loves Jesus, her family, and her friends.”

Mr. and Mrs. Baynes had this advice, “Parents should be their child’s biggest fan. Children need encouragement and they need a church home because this is a tough world we live in.”
