her story: Nayoon is involved in various clubs, two of which she founded to help new and international students integrate into her school. She is a member and leader of the Youth Engaging Service, or YES team, a founder of the Bridge of Unity in Diversity Club, and the International Club. She is also a member of the Math Club, Interact Club, SGA, and Peer Leaders. She serves as a Student Ambassador, and she plays golf. On top of her many diverse activities, she enjoys art and spends her Saturdays with family eating, watching TV, and playing games. She wants to be remembered as “a person who is always energetic and caring for others.”
what’s next: Nayoon wants to follow in her uncle’s footsteps and become an accountant.
PG (parental guidance) rating: She stated, “My parents have provided the most inspiration in my life. I am so thankful for everything they have done. I want to be like my mom who is always caring and warm-hearted. I want to be like my dad who can solve every problem in a wise way.”

parent-to-parent: “You need to help your child accomplish what your child wants to do. Therefore, do not ignore even the smallest ideas or thoughts presented by your child from childhood, and raise your child to have a wider view of the world.”
