She serves as an Eagle Ambassador for ACA, giving tours to new families and representing the school at community events. In addition, she is an Athletic Ambassador and member of both the varsity volleyball and varsity track and field teams. When asked to share what she loves most about ACA, Bailey shared, “My school is a Christian school, and our main focus is putting God first and glorifying Him in everything we do. This is something that I take pride in.”
what’s next: “I want to be a vet for big animals such as horses and cows. I have always loved being around animals, and I have always wanted to be some sort of doctor. I figured if I could be a doctor for animals, then it would be the perfect job for me.”
PG (parental guidance) rating: Bailey shared, “My mom has provided the most inspiration in my life. She has taught me to outweigh the negatives with positives, and in high school that is something you have to learn.” She added, “My family is a family of fighters. We have faced obstacles many families couldn’t imagine facing. I am proud to say we have overcome our hard times and in my opinion, grown closer as a family.”
parents’ perspective: Carmen and Jason admire Bailey’s work ethic. They explained, “She juggles grades, sports, and personal life and succeeds in it all. She is also a caring and giving individual. She puts others before herself and always makes sure no one is left behind.”
parent-to-parent: “Push them to always be involved and not to settle for average. Encourage them to stand out in a crowd and be the person everyone remembers. Go for the goal.”
