Leah Nicholas says, “I try to always encourage Aidan and my daughter Dailey to always reach for the stars; never to settle for second best, work hard at whatever you are doing, and to always realize nothing fabulous in life comes easy!"
Mrs. Nicholas grew up hearing words of encouragement from her parents, teaching her to believe in her dreams and have faith in her ability to achieve those dreams. She also recalls them saying “be whatever you want to be in life, study hard, and it always pays off.”
Those lessons in life have been implemented within the life of her son Aidan. Aidan’s known as a musical talent currently part of his own band and plays the guitar, drums, and ukulele. He’s always made straight A’s in middle and high school. His parents Tony and Leah Nicholas say “he strives to be the best at whatever goal he sets to achieve.”
To complement his ambition, “Aidan has a huge heart even from the time he was a small child. Always putting God, his family, and friends before his own needs,” says his parents.
“My advice to give other parents is to be by their side always encouraging them to stay focused and love God and life. Push your children to always do great things, but find the fine line that should never be crossed of putting them down or making them feel inferior! We stamp our children early in life of the type of teenagers, college students, husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers. If you are kind to them now, they will be the kind of person they need to be.”
