Study with Stamina: If you’re taking a test that will probably take about an hour or more to complete, adjust your study habits to match the length of the test. Try studying for one to two hours at a time with maybe an eight-minute break in between. This will increase your stamina and keep your brain from feeling fried on test day.
Take Full-Length Practice Tests: The more you know the style of the test, the better prepared you’ll be on test day.
Wear Earplugs: It’s important to not get distracted by people coughing, groaning or turning the pages a lot faster than you. Wear earplugs to zero in on your test and get in the zone for complete concentration.
Exercise on Breaks: By doing a couple of warm up exercises on breaks, you can increase your blood flow and loosen up both mentally and physically.
Relax: One of the simplest test-taking tips is still the best: relax! Take deep breaths and trust that all of your studying will pay off.
